Event schedule

The symposium schedule has been organized to provide time for presentation of research results, as well as significant time for structured and informal discussion among symposium attendees. Unlike many academic conferences, MIS'05 attendees will have the opportunity to meet and have substantial conversation with all participants.

Sessions last approximately 3 hours, with a 30 minute break approximately halfway through the session. Sessions will be based around paper presentations and discussions.

Tickets for the reception, social event, conference dinner, and lunches are included in the base registration rate. Extra tickets for these events (e.g., for spouses not attending the conference) may be purchased separately. Provided lunches will be at the symposium. See the registration page for more details.

Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided at the lunches, reception, conference dinner, and social event. Alcohol will be available for purchase at the all events.

The reception on Tuesday takes place at the "library" at Dronning Louise on the main square of Esbjerg (called "torvet") starting at 20:30.

The social event (bowling and buffet) on Wednesday takes place at Fun World starting at 18:30. Fun World is located to the north west of the center of Esbjerg. The best way to get there is by taxi. The address is "Glarmestervej 6-12". The taxi drivers know the place!

The dinner on Thursday takes place at the restaurant at Dronning Louise on the main square of Esbjerg (called "torvet") starting at 19:00. It is the night before St. Martin's Day, and duck will be served.
