Tue Mar 11 The structure of scientific writing: tips and tricks and how to apply them in both your reading and your writing. Guest lecturer Bridget Hallam. Slides: [1], [2], [3], [exercise] Paper that will be used as an example: A Performance Evaluation of the Mobile Agent Paradigm Note: Pages 310 and 311 are in the wrong order (look at the section numbers).
Tue Mar 25 Writers' workshop: you will be working on your reports, to get full benefit from this class have the structure of your report ready as well as a paragraph of text. Reports are due Monday 7th of April 12:00, as follows:
  • One physical printout in Ulrik's mailbox in front of the secretary's office
  • Email to Ulrik with an electronic copy, can include source code
Please note that the first SSE04 lecture is scheduled for Friday 4th of April, and that it would be a bad idea to miss it. Keep in mind though that to get a good start for SSE04 it would be better for you to have finished up your SSE05 report before SSE04 starts...
